No alcohol 48 hours prior to your procedure. No caffeine the morning of your procedure. No Botox two weeks prior to your procedure. No fillers four weeks prior to your procedure. Avoid sun and tanning one week prior to your procedure. Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Advil/Ibuprofen 24 hours prior to your procedure. Discontinue Glycolics, Chemical Peels and Retin-A four weeks prior to your procedure. Refrain from use of any Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) products close to the eyebrow area two weeks prior to and two weeks after your procedure. Check your moisturizer, face wash, BB or CC creams and makeup primers for anything that says acid. Discontinue use of Retinol products or strong skin care products one week prior to your procedure. No brow waxing or tinting one week prior to your procedure. You must discontinue the use of any type of Accutane one year prior to your procedure. No Latisse (lash hair growing serum). Discontinue use at least three weeks prior to your appointment. Specific to LIP BLUSH If you have ever had a cold sore, please begin anti-virals at least 2 weeks prior to your appointment. We must reschedule if you have any active cold sores. *Please note, anti-virals do not guarantee the reappearance of a cold sore after the procedure.* Exfoliate daily for one week prior to the procedure and moisturize your lips leading up to the appointment. (Coconut oil & sugar can be used as a natural exfoliant). No lip fillers within 4 weeks of your appointment. Specific to LASH ENHANCEMENT No lash extensions during and until 6 weeks after procedure. Be sure to read and follow the requirements thoroughly and contact me for any questions or concerns. After Care Instructions Gently blot treated area with a clean and dry gauze pad for the first 24 hours and the following five days. Discontinue this process after the fifth day or you will risk removing scabs prematurely which may affect colour retention. Do not use aftercare until cleaned and only after 48 hours after appointment. Continue to use ointment when necessary and use sparingly. Do not pick scabs or flakes - the scabbing process is to be expected and is a common part of the healing process. Avoid direct sunlight, excessive sweating, long hot showers, swimming, or anything that may add moisture to the area for the first 14 days. Do not apply makeup or additional products in the treated area until the scabs have healed.
